Aviles milk chocolate shells are one of our most popular candies. Virginia Whetstone created this milk chocolate candy in the mid 1980s, taking inspiration from the beaches around St. Augustine. Its distinctive shape was inspired by the seashells she collected as a child.

These milk chocolate pieces are made from a 31% cocoa milk chocolate. Each shell is individually wrapped in light blue metallic foil. We test over 200 chocolates every year, so we can adjust for small changes in flavor. That means you’ll get the same great taste from our chocolates, whether you had your last shell days or years ago.
