In this bar we have combined our wonderful Menendez blend dark chocolate with the lovely flavor of our in house roasted cocoa nibs. The health benefits of dark chocolate are undeniable but with the addition of our cocoa nibs we have taken it to the next level. Health benefits of chocolate when it is in the form of cocoa nibs include; weight loss (because of its high chromium and coumarin content), prevention of cavities (theobromine actually kills streptococci mutans one of the strains of bacteria that cause tooth decay) and regulation of blood sugar which is beneficial for diabetes (chromium can naturally regulate blood sugar).
